Passwords & Security

Your password is the key to your account, and you must be very careful to keep it secret. Likewise your students must keep their passwords secret, even from you. If one of your students forgets their password, you can set it using the Students option in the Account Management page, but you can never see what the student's password was before you changed it. If you are concerned that your password may have been compromised, you should change it.

For extra security, you password is never sent unencrypted across the internet - the only exception is when you first set up your account, and we send your login details to you by email. When you log in to the system, your password is encrypted before it is sent to the server, and your password is not stored on the same server as your exercise materials and student information.
