Logging In And Out

To log in to your administration area on hotpotatoes.net, you need to enter your username and password at the hotpotatoes.net login page. If you use one of the supported authoring programs (Hot Potatoes, TexToys or Quandary) to create a demo account on hotpotatoes.net, your demo username and password are displayed on the screen when you first upload. If you purchase a full hosting account, your permanent username and password will be sent to you by email.

Please note that your hotpotatoes.net username and password are not the same as the ID and key you use to register your authoring program. In other words, you cannot log in to hotpotatoes.net using your TexToys or Hot Potatoes registration key.

After logging in, you will see your Account Management Area.

Logging Out

It is important that you always log out when you have finished using the Account Management area. If someone else uses your computer, or monitors what your computer is sending or receiving from the hotpotatoes.net server, your account might be more vulnerable to unauthorised access if you do not log out when you finish using the system.
